It is well understood that candidates' behavior during conventional interviews is not a valid indicator for their behavior on the job. Further, the selection criteria are usually loosely defined and open to interpretation by the interviewer.
The Behavioral Event Interview, on the other hand, is a well-established structured selection tool used by several organizations. The 30 minute interview provides a quick and reliable assessment of candidates' behavioral and managerial competencies in a recruitment or promotion context.

Anahat's in-house Behavioral Event Interview Certification program (BEI) is recommended for individuals who work with recruitment and wish to equip themselves with the skills essential for conducting a Behavioral Event Interview for a set of competencies.
The certification comes from Anahat (formerly APPIPL), an organisation well-known in the Assessment world both as distributor and trainer of several psychometric assessment products and very highly regarded for the rigour and the substantiveness of training and especially of the certification process.
