What Does Anahat Mean ?
Originating from the Sanskrit name of the fourth primary chakra in yoga, Anahat is born out of the inspiration to go to the heart of a matter.
We believe that touching the core of a system releases the tension between seeming polarities, be it at the level of the individual or the organization.
We believe in the magic of the and. Be it our certification programmes, our products, or our training and consulting services; our aim is to bring about change and empowerment by making choices which can even integrate opposites in a meaningful way.
We help individuals in the organisations we work for to recognise the real options before them, in work and in life. They can then choose with awareness and transform positively, both themselves and their organisation.
We help organisations work through their people, by defining and aligning on human behaviours that create culture, performance and success, and then by scientifically measuring and building those behaviours.
Janaki Venkat and C.S.Mahesh
founded Anahat in 2005 to offer uniquely customised solutions to organizations striving for significant transformation. Since 1994, both Janaki and Mahesh have been working as Organisation Development Consultants. They have trained to be process facilitators with the Indian Society for Individual and Social Development (ISISD). Two decades of consulting and facilitation has laid the foundation for a continuing exploration in human development.
As Master Trainers on the MBTI®, FIRO-B®, CPI260 instruments, Strong Interest Inventory® and the Saville Consulting suite of assessments, they have certified 2000+ individuals on the use of these instruments.
Janaki and Mahesh believe in keeping themselves updated with tools that help them work meaningfully with clients; they have attended the five-module training offered by the Coaches Training Institute and have completed qualification training on the Organisation and Team Culture Indicator (OTCI) with Carol Pearson, creator of the instrument, on the use of archetypes to understand mental maps held by groups and organisations. Their collective expertise translates into being able to move discussions to deeper levels, an ability to work with diverse methodologies and craft specific solutions to address organisation’s needs.
